Swinerton is building up the West just as it helped rebuild San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake. One of the largest contractors in California, the construction group builds commercial, industrial, and government facilities, including resorts, subsidized housing, public schools, soundstages, hospitals, and airport terminals. Through its subsidiaries, Swinerton offers general contracting and design/build services, as well as construction and program management. The firm also provides property management for conventional, subsidized, and assisted living residences, and is active in the renewable energy sector. The 100% employee-owned company traces its roots to 1888.
