The Alabama Associated General Contractors (Alabama AGC) has announced the 2026 inductees into the Alabama Construction Hall of Fame: Jeff Stone of Brasfield & Gorrie and Ben Nevins of BL Harbert International. The honorees will be formally inducted during the BuildSouth Awards ceremony (March 12th, 2026), held at The Club in Birmingham, as part of Alabama AGC’s annual celebration recognizing outstanding member projects and leadership in the construction industry.

“These two individuals represent the very best of Alabama’s construction industry—visionary leadership, professional excellence, and a lasting commitment to building our state,” said Mike Scarborough, President of Alabama AGC and Rabren General Contractors of Auburn. “Jeff Stone and Ben Nevins have each made an extraordinary impact on their companies, their communities, and the industry as a whole.”

“The Hall of Fame honors individuals whose careers have elevated the construction profession and left a lasting legacy,” said Alex Whaley, Sr., Chair of the Alabama Construction Hall of Fame Committee and Whaley Construction of Troy. “Jeff Stone and Ben Nevins exemplify those values through decades of leadership, service, and dedication to building opportunities for others.”

The Alabama Construction Hall of Fame induction is a featured component of the BuildSouth Awards, Alabama AGC’s premier annual event recognizing excellence in member construction projects, safety, innovation, and leadership across the state.
